Here are a few examples of what the members have been doing over the last few months.
The Brecon group have chosen various topics to discuss. One issue has been about Brecon town and how the town has changed.
This item was called, "Where’s Brecon gone?"
Members invited 3 county councillors to discuss the matter. Lots of questions were asked, such as:
"Could something be done to make Brecon tidier?"
And
"Drinking alcohol in the town shouldn’t be allowed. There should be late CSO or Police patrols, what is being done to resolve this problem?"
Following this meeting the Brecon group invited Steve Nicholls, who is a local Policeman.
Steve gave the group advice and information on crime prevention. Dyfed Powys Police will be delivering conflict management training in the future.
