Powys People First help organise self advocacy groups across Powys for people with a learning disability.

Self-Advocacy is when you speak up for yourself either on your own or in a group.

When we use the phrase ‘speak up’, we mean to communicate your opinion.

You can do this by using voice, movement, sign language, sound, picture and film.

Our members are always looking for new ways to speak up in their local area, as well as across Wales.

For more information or to join your local group, please contact us by phone, email, or please call into the office.

Powys People First are managed by BCA Independent Advocacy Services.  They provide one to one independent advocacy.
